Strategic Intensives | $ 1800
One-day or multi-session deep dives for nonprofit boards or business leadership teams. Includes discovery intake, and up to 8 hours of facilitation — a complete branded strategic plan document covering priorities, action steps, ownership, and milestones.
Best for: Organizations ready to build a plan their whole team can execute.
Strategic Planning Engagements | $5000
Strategic Intensive Sessions (3), plus a 30-day follow-up session, implementation check-ins, and an updated plan document reflecting adjustments made in the first 30 days.

The Founder
Hi, I’m Melissa, the founder of OriGen Strategies. I’ve supported visionary leaders across sectors—from startups and creatives to educators and nonprofits by helping them align their visions to action.
Too many great ideas are being lost to overwhelm and lack of structure. I built OriGen to disrupt that pattern.
I bring 20 years of experience in operations, program coordination, and event management across nonprofit and for-profit organizations. I have guided founders through growth and transition, managed multi-day events across multiple cities with budgets approaching one million dollars, and sat inside enough organizations to know exactly what a plan has to survive to become real.
Every session I lead is designed to pull the thinking out of the room, not pour it in. My clients leave with clarity they built themselves and a plan they actually believe in -- grounded in the FRESH Method and delivered as a polished, branded document they can put to work immediately.

Frequently Asked Questions
How long does the process take?
The Strategic Clarity Session is a single 3-hour session and can typically be scheduled within two to three weeks. The Intensive is a full-day engagement. The Strategic Planning Engagement spans three sessions over four to eight weeks, depending on your team's availability.
What if our team isn't all in one place?
All sessions can be facilitated in person or virtually. The process and the deliverable are the same either way. We highly recommend in-person sessions if possible.
What does the 30-day follow-up in the Planning Engagement include?
At the 30-day mark, we schedule a check-in to review progress against the plan, surface any obstacles, and make any needed adjustments before you move into the next quarter. It is included in the engagement at no additional cost.
Who is this a good fit for?
OriGen works best with founders, executive directors, and leadership teams who have a clear sense of their vision but need structured support translating it into a plan the whole organization can follow. If you are in early-stage chaos with no direction yet, we can still talk — the Clarity Session may be the right place to start.
Do you work with organizations outside of Greenville, SC?
Yes. Clients are based across the country! In-person engagements are available wherever requested—travel expenses apply.
